Monika Supruniuk is an art conservator specializing in the conservation and restoration of paper, photography and film. A graduate of the Faculty of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where she obtained her doctoral degree and currently teaches photography preservation and conservation. Since 2009, she has been associated with the National Film Archive – Audiovisual Institute. She collaborates with numerous public institutions and non-governmental organizations. She is the author of a scientific publication and co-editor of a book on the preservation and conservation of works of art. Furthermore, she is a recipient of the "Young Poland" scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2013) and the scholarship for young scientists from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (2018–2021). She was the manager of the National Science Centre NCN grant "(Im)mutability. Conservation of Analog Media of Audiovisual Art" (2013–2016). A co-organizer of outreach, educational, and exhibition activities, she is also the initiator of the Warsaw edition of "Home Movie Day" and one of the Archeo Sisters, organizer of the Sounds of Silents festival. Her interests focus on the preservation of analog media, the history of photographic and film techniques, the reinterpretation of audiovisual works in the digital age, and legal and social responsibility in archival and conservation practices. She comes from the Polesie region.

Monika Supruniuk – konserwatorka dzieł sztuki, specjalizująca się w konserwacji i restauracji papieru, fotografii oraz filmu. Absolwentka Wydziału Konserwacji i Restauracji Dzieł Sztuki Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie, gdzie uzyskała stopień doktorki i obecnie prowadzi zajęcia z identyfikacji i konserwacji fotografii. Od 2009 roku związana z Filmoteką Narodową – Instytutem Audiowizualnym. Współpracuje z wieloma instytucjami publicznymi i organizacjami pozarządowymi. Autorka kilkunastu publikacji naukowych i współredaktorka książek z zakresu ochrony i konserwacji dzieł sztuki. Laureatka stypendium Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego „Młoda Polska” (2013) oraz stypendium dla wybitnych młodych naukowców MNiSW (2018–2021). Kierowniczka grantu NCN „(Nie)zmienność. Konserwacja analogowych mediów sztuki audiowizualnej” (2013–2016). Współorganizatorka licznych wydarzeń popularyzatorskich, edukacyjnych i wystaw, a także inicjatorka warszawskiej edycji „Home Movie Day” i jedna z Sióstr Archeo, organizatorek festiwalu Sounds of Silents. Jej zainteresowania koncentrują się na problematyce konserwacji mediów analogowych, historii technik fotograficznych i filmowych, reinterpretacji dzieł audiowizualnych w epoce cyfrowej, a także na odpowiedzialności środowiskowej i społecznej w praktykach archiwalnych i konserwatorskich. Pochodzi z Polesia.
