Fabio Bedoya is a film restoration specialist based in London, working at the intersection of traditional preservation and emerging AI technologies. His recent research focuses on developing open-weight AI models for color recovery in faded film, creating workflows that enable archives to restore damaged materials cost-effectively. He presents internationally on accessible AI solutions for audiovisual heritage preservation, including recent talks at JTS, AMIA, FIAT/IFTA, and IASA.
