Documentalist with over 40 years experience in archivist and documentation research. Responsible for the Historic Archive at 3Cat since 2015. Experience covers research in different subjects and archives in Spain, and world-wide, archives on-line, maintaining documental and reference databases. Possessing developed skills that have been gained through years of research working for different audiovisual projects either and mainly at TV3, the Catalan Public Television in Barcelona but also for external Poduction companies.
Documentalist with proven multi-tasking abilities: identifying footage, planning research, selecting archives and developing research. I ensure all activities meet and integrate with organizational requirements both for budget and deadlines. My preference goes to historical projects. As a result of my research, I've published several articles. Topic summary
Our company has created a working group focused on the implementation of Artificial Intelligence, called Responsible AI. The committee of experts has been established to advise 3Cat on the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence. This group, composed of individuals external to the organization and with recognized expertise in various fields related to AI, will advise and evaluate the work carried out by 3Cat’s Responsible AI Commission and will assess the work it undertakes. The Responsible AI Commission of 3Cat was created in July 2023 with the aim of ensuring that the Corporation becomes a pioneer in developing internal regulation in the form of a code of good practices and uses of Artificial Intelligence, both in relation to third party AI tools and in the development of its own systems. In this context, the Commission has worked on drafting ethical principles for the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence; it has implemented a method to help 3Cat professionals assess the potential risks of projects involving the use of AI; and it has promoted a training program designed to inform employees about AI applications, associated risks, and the need for responsible use. From the Archive, we have sought to be actively involved and have developed a proposal that can be understood as our letter to the Three Kings regarding the implementation of AI in the Archive. It is still a proposal, and we do not yet know how it will ultimately evolve, but we are really concerned about how AI will affect our archive.
